KW Apparecchi Scientifici has been operating in the biomedical and pharmaceutical refrigeration for over 55 years, and has technologically updated the series devoted to blood conservation and to plasma fast freezing and storage, through a complete procedure with performance, safety and thermal tests, medical analysis carried out by Public Health final users.

For these kind of blood bank refrigerators and plasma freezers (fast freezing and storage from -20°C to -80°C) KW has implemented its Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 with ISO 13485:2004, obtaining MEDICAL DEVICES CERTIFICATION, class IIa, in compliance with 93/42 CE Directive, registered in Medical Device inventory of Italian Health Ministry.

Blood bank refrigerators and plasma freezers are planned for integrable data recording system (Spy KW) with Hospital local networks , which, wireless or Ethernet linked, allow communication with remote server.
